Care-O-Pet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used in dogs for inflammation and pain relief.
Care-O-Pet chewable tablets are liver-flavoured, which makes them very easy to administer as most dogs like the taste and accept the tablets freely.
The medicine is approved for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and for postoperative pain associated with soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries in dogs. How to use
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your veterinarian. Use Care-O-Pet exactly as directed.
The usual recommended dosage of Care-O-Pet is 2 mg/lb (4.4 mg/kg) of body weight given once daily. For the control of postoperative pain, the tablet should be given approximately 2 hours before the procedure. The chewable tablets may be fed by hand or placed on food. Use the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the medicine at your next regularly scheduled time. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose. Storage
